PRIMARY FUNCTION:Assist the Physician/APP Development Manager and the Director of Credentialing with onboarding preparation, communication, tracking and maintenance of credentialing files and training schedules.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Working in a professional office environment. The position involves organizational and analytical skills most importantly.  The environment also calls for the ability to multi-task, communicate clearly, and track files.   
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: (This list may not include all of the duties that may be assigned.)
Physician/APP Development:
  1. Update and maintain provider onboarding tracking grid with current status of each Physician/APP throughout the onboarding process.
  2. Responsible for coordinating updates and communication between Physician/APP, medical offices and Department Heads including follow-up communication, collection and distribution of all required documents and forms.
  3. Collaborate with responsible parties in assigned departments to ensure task are completed.
  4. Regularly communicate with the Physician/APP to provide updates on the status of his/her training. Provide key contact information for training schedules.
  5. Responsible for the communication of critical Physician/APP information during onboarding to insure efficient onboarding.
  6. Assist with tracking of new Physician/APP training progression and associated documentation
  7. Screen MD/APP student requests and facilitate placement.
  8. Maintain master training calendar.
  9. Generate weekly activity report and other reports as requested
  10. Coordinate meetings and prepare training packets
Credentialing Department:
  1. Follow internal escalation process when credentialing is at risk
  2. Facilitate hospital training with Hospital Rounding Leads
  3. Collaborate with Director to provide updated information to internal and external contacts as needed.
  4. Proactively assist with the regular maintenance and auditing of credentialing files
  5. Contribute to the Credentialing team by participating with the ongoing credentialing initiatives as needed.
  6. Composes memos, letters and reports as needed.
Education:Minimum of a High School Education
Experience: Two years minimum experience.
  • The ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize a large volume of detail-oriented work in accordance with changing deadlines.
  • Advanced Excel and Outlook skills needed. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrate a professional and adaptable demeanor with internal and external clients, including administrators, physicians, peers, and support staff.
  • Exhibit a high energy level, and demonstrate the ability to work as a valuable contributor to the team, with flexibility in work habits to schedule and meet the needs of the Department.
  • Must be highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytic and problem solving and project management abilities.
