Clinical Technical Analyst
- PRIMARY FUNCTION
- A professional client relations position. This position is an integral part of our applications team responsible for support, maintenance, and change control of clinical applications and systems to include but not limited to EHR and XPM. Individual will perform system administration, set up, and manage a range of features/process within clinical systems and applications.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

- Receives change/enhancement requests, analyzes the request and makes recommendations on whether to proceed.
- Coordinates or attends meetings to gather requirements.
- Assists with redesigning workflows and maximizing efficiencies.
- Obtains buy-in from other parties affected by the changes that are proposed.
- Coordinates the training and roll-out of new features/products/tools.
- Participates in application setup and design.
- Creates documentation of changes that have been made, and the reasoning behind the decision to make the change.
- Maintains in-depth knowledge of the EHR, XPM and related systems.
- Creates and maintains documentation outlining how to address identified issues with the software.
- May perform site visits to medical offices, including Jacksonville and Tampa locations.
- Assists in submitting Meaningful Use applications.
- Attends occasional evening committee meetings.
- Provides technical support for EHR, XPM, and related systems.
- Assists in development of training and support materials.
- Other duties as assigned.
- PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years’ experience supporting an EMR application
Licensure:
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, and have the following characteristics:
* High level of written and oral communication in the English language.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Able to meet deadlines with conflicting priorities.
* Ability to solve problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm and innovation.
* Poise, confidence and professional maturity to interface with senior-level executives.
Experience:- Clinical health care experience preferred.
