Gen Peds PNP Opportunity Available - Part Time!

At Tri-County Pediatrics, it’s our mission to be the pediatric office of choice to assist with the care and growth of all of the families in our community. We have 6 conveniently located offices in Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties. For patient and parent convenience, we have evening and weekend hours in addition to normal daytime business hours.

Our scope of practice ranges from providing preventative care for the well child to the complex medical needs of a child with a chronic Illness. We are looking for an APRN or PA-C for a busy practice with a great culture. Floating to all 6 locations is not a requirement of the position. The successful candidate will work as a team with our medical assistants and physicians and will assist in delivering the best care to every single patient. 1-2+ years of general pediatric experience preferred. Duties

• Perform initial patient screenings and patient history and physical examinations for newborns through 21 years old
• Update patient records and check records for accuracy at each patient appointment
• Review lab & specialist reports and determine the need for follow-up appointments and further treatment options
• Sharing call equally between providers for the office 
• Deliver quality care while maintaining all practice standards
• Serve as the resource patients & parents need for ongoing care information, counseling and provide guidance for any patients with critical conditions

Qualifications & Skills

• Master’s Degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Degree
• Experience as a provider
• Valid Pennsylvania nurse practitioner or PA-C license
• Ability to work within a team and take direction
• Must be familiar with EHR medical charting system(s)
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
