??????PRIMARY FUNCTION:  Pediatric Associates is looking for a Graphic Designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics for a variety of media. The Graphic Designer functions include the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. The graphic designer will shape the visual aspects of websites, advertisements, social media, patient-facing collateral and more.

REPORTS TO: Communications Manager


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB: (This list may not include all of the duties that may be assigned.)

Collaborating with multiple departments within our organization, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right brand message. This individual has a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design.

  • Study design briefs and determine requirements
  • Schedule projects and manage multiple tasks to deadline
  • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
  • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
  • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
  • Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic
  • Work independently and cooperatively on multiple projects with marketing team, meeting deadlines and scheduling project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projects
  • Work with Sr. Communications Manager to produce final design
  • Test graphics across various media
  • Amend designs after feedback
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brandSupport Multimedia Specialist with graphics needed for customer and patient facing video communications

TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: Office based/remote work environment


Adhere to all organizational information security policies and protect all sensitive information including but not limited to ePHI and PHI in accordance with organizational policy, Federal, State, and local regulations.

EDUCATION: Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus


*Upon hire, and for the duration of the employment period driver’s license must be active and valid.*


  • Proven graphic designing experience
  • A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
