The HRIS Manager will support HR systems integrations and drive operational efficiency. This is a Techno-Functional HRIS role and the incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams from Payroll, Accounting, IT, Recruiting, and other Business Partners. Pediatric Associates uses ADP Workforce Now as the core HRIS solution, Healthcaresource Modules: Position Manager and Performance Manager, Healthstream and other HR Systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong ADP Workforce Now experience and other HR systems to improve our technology solutions and operations.
The HRIS Manager is an analytical role, where one conducts research, and consistently develops and enforces HR procedures and policies. Analyzes and reports on KPIs and trends related to human capital in the business and uses these findings to develop strategies and solutions to issues that affect the business’s employee relations.
The HRIS Manager role will have responsibility for the existing HRIS platforms as well as lead initiatives to enhance and scale the existing solutions for new business opportunities. The role will lead our ADP Workforce Now platform to ensure day-to-day support of the system and reporting needs for our internal business customers. This is a hands-on position that will play a critical role in design, planning, delivering functionality in the areas of Human Capital Management, Talent Acquisition, Benefits/Compensation, and Talent Management.
Objectives and Responsibilities
Lead HRIS projects including configuration, testing and implementation, particularly in the areas of Integrations, Core/Advanced Compensation, Security, Business Process Management, Reports and Dashboards.
Function as subject matter expert regarding all processes and system requirements (workflows, security, reporting, and integrations).
Responsible for reporting and conversion of data to ensure accuracy of HR data.
Serve as first point of contact for users in regards to reporting requests, system issues, and requirements for system improvements.
Maintain data accuracy and integrity by performing periodic audits, analyzing information from various sources and reviewing system setups. Ensure processes and practices are consistently applied across the organization and comply with policies, legal agreements, and regulatory requirements.
Ensure the HR team, managers and employees have the appropriate information and support to support their role in maintaining employee information.
Partner with our internal Compliance team to ensure timely completion of audit requests, data governance activity, and internal audit checks.
Create, maintain, and schedule notifications and reports, including the creation of calculated fields, notifications, and alerts as requested across the organization.
Serve as the point of contact for certain ADP data related projects, acting as a liaison between the cross-functional teams and third parties; collaborate with all; to effectively prioritize and execute projects managing activities, tasks, deliverables and timelines.
Lead and advise the business teams in assessing technology needs, developing and documenting business requirements and functional specifications, developing testing strategies, conducting acceptance testing and implementing solutions.
Be up to date with functionality enhancements delivered through ADP updates and provide ongoing recommendations/system solutions to keep ADP business processes simple and efficient. Lead and communicate system related releases, upgrades and enhancements.
Develop the strategic roadmap for HRIS initiatives. Work with senior leadership and key stakeholders to support organizational strategic objectives, leveraging all HR Platforms functionality to ease administrative burden and build efficient, effective, and scalable processes.
Drive adoption, optimization and transformation to ensure we are fully leveraging HR Platforms to meet strategic business and talent needs and pursue continuous improvement in business processes, integration, automation, and user experience.
Partner with Talent and business teams to understand their needs and requirements, make recommendations for solutions, and roadmap and prioritize implementation to support ADP business objectives.
Coordinate with internal and external partners. Work with third party software and security teams to ensure configuration and integrations are efficient, compliant, and accurate.
Manage HRIS workload by owning planning and release strategies for ADP releases as well as new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
Identify, establish and track key metrics. Monitor effectiveness and ADP-utilization, identifying trends, root causes, and solutions to drive efficiency, scalability.
- The HRIS Manager must have a Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Human Resources, Business, IT or any other related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years HRIS experience.
- Experienced in working with stakeholders across talent and the business, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical professionals.
- Strong prioritization skills. Able to evaluate new opportunities and asks, determine requirements and prioritize based on business goals, return on investment, and risks to deliver near-term value without sacrificing long-term effectiveness.
