Summary

Pediatric Associates is recruiting for an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our out-practice in Gainesville, Florida. This is an opportunity to join a very well-run practice with a highly competent and motivated team of clinicians, clinical and administrative staff. Here you will be supported and have the resources you need to care for your deserving panel of patients. 

Gainesville, home to the University of Florida College of Medicine, offers a vibrant community with many activities for families. Explore 30+ miles of biking and hiking trails, take a dive into one of the crystal clear freshwater springs, attend performances at the Dance Alive National Ballet or spend the day at the Cade Museum of Creativity and Invention...the list goes on. 

Schedule ( Part-Time to Full-time):

  • 3 or 4 days 2PM - 7PM
  • Fridays 8:30AM - 5PM
  • 1 Saturday per 4 weeks 8AM - 12PM
  • We are happy to be flexible with building a schedule for an excellent candidate

Experience Required

•  2+ years of experience working as a general pediatrics provider is required.

Education:

  • Completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
  • Current, or ability to obtain an unrestricted license in the state of Florida
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible
