  • PRIMARY FUNCTION
    • Assists Director of Finance and CFO with accounting functions including reporting of the practice financial operations.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
    • This list may not include all of the duties that may be assigned.
       
    • Reconcile and maintain assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
    • Manage and maintain real estate company records for all offices.
    • Assist in capital planning with IT and Facility Manager
    • Code invoices by location and CEN # for capital equipment purchases.
    • Monitor CIP (Construction in Progress) for project completion and relocation into Fixed Asset system.
    • Prepare assigned journal entries and spreadsheets needed for month end closing.
    • Review rent files and prepare rent vouchers for monthly payment processing.
    • Work closely with landlords for any rent-related issues and read and review lease agreement terms, amendments, liens and process of tenant allowances.
    • Monitor the real estate company’s cash flow, bank transfers for rent, bank account reconciliations, and monthly distribution to shareholders.
    • Prepare various spreadsheets through Excel as needed for financial analysis and comparison i.e. Daily bank balances, insurance spreadsheets, FTEs, batch log.
    • Various other duties as assigned, including cross training in other functional areas.
    • Create and maintain policies and procedures for Capital and Leases.
    • Assist outside auditors with year-end audit.
    • Perform other various duties, including cross training in other functional areas, as assigned by Director of Finance and CFO.
  • PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
    • Education:
      • Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance

    • Licensure:

    • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
      • Knowledge of accounting principles and theory. Ability to analyze financial reports and data and make recommendations, prepare statistical and narrative accounting reports, perform mathematical computations accurately and quickly, identify and compute ratios and percentages and communicate clearly.

    • Experience:
      • Healthcare experience preferred
