  • PRIMARY FUNCTION
    • Assist Director of Finance with accounting functions including reporting of the practice financial operations.
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
    • This list may not include all of the duties that may be assigned.
       
    • Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
    • Set up, monitor and assist employees in travel and expense reporting utilizing the Concur system.
    • Prepare various spreadsheets through Excel as needed for financial analysis and comparison.
    • Monitor cash balances on a daily basis; prepare daily remote deposits and cash reports.
    • Verify account receivable receipts to accounts receivable posting to insure all receipts have been posted to an appropriate account.
    • Prepare monthly journal entries and monthly spreadsheets needed for month end closing.
    • Assist outside auditors with year end audit.
    • Review trial balance on a monthly basis to insure all expenses have been appropriately allocated.
    • Assist Director of Finance along with Management in preparation of annual budget.
    • Various other duties as assigned, including cross training in other functional areas.
  • PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS
    • Education:
      • Bachelors degree in accounting/finance or commiserate work experience.

    • Licensure:
      • None

    • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
      • Knowledge of accounting principles and theory, ability to analyze financial reports and data and make recommendations, prepare statistical and narrative accounting reports, perform mathematical computations accurately and quickly, identify and compute ratios and percentages and communicate clearly. Must be skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.

    • Experience:
      • 1-3 years of experience preferred

    • Adhere to all organizational information security policies and protect all sensitive information including but not limited to ePHI and PHI in accordance with organizational policy, Federal, State, and local regulations.
